Rowswell
& Associates Engineers Ltd. was founded in 1986 by Mr. John
Rowswell. Since that time, we have been providing civil,
structural, welding engineering, and project management services
throughout Northern Ontario and Michigan. With our main office in
Sault Ste. Marie and a satellite office in Toronto, we are able to
meet our clients’ daily needs. At present (1999), the staff
consists of 1 registered consulting engineer, 4 registered
professional engineers, 2 certified technologists, and associated
support staff. The two principals of the firm, Mr. Rowswell and
Mr. Moss, have a wide range of experience in the design of
industrial, commercial, bridges, and other special structures with
more than 40 combined years of experience in the consulting
engineering industry.

Our roots are in
the structural and welding metallurgical fields providing
specialized engineering solutions to a diverse set of industrial
and civil needs. However, as you will see, our capabilities span
far beyond basic structural engineering to include testing and
inspection services, failure and forensic services, welding
engineering, and project management on multi-disciplinary projects
acting as the prime consultant.
