It was
twelve years ago that I completed my thesis on "Crane
Runway Systems". One year later we had so many
requests that we had to print 500 more copies of which
only a few are now left. As a result of the demand
we are in the process of another printing.
More
recently, much of our work is with new industrial
structures, time-life studies of older runways or failure
review of cracks or broken mechanical/structural
components. When combined with our practical
background in welding engineering, it provides very
innovative solutions. We still find providing
engineering services in this area of specialty exciting,
so our enthusiasm to learn and grow will continue. We are available for consultation should you desire a
second opinion, either to the owner who wonders why he has
a mill building or crane runway maintenance problem or to
the consultant who just wants to get it right.
